Trash Trapper is a family-founded company born from a passion for solving everyday problems with simple, innovative solutions. Founded in 2022 by Alex Burnett—a seasoned manufacturing executive, Lean expert, and product innovator—alongside his wife and son, the company began with the invention of the Trellis Trap, a breakthrough tool used in horticulture to collect trellis netting efficiently during harvest. That same spirit of practical innovation evolved into the creation of Trash Trap: a line of patent-pending waste receptacles designed to trap and compress trash effortlessly. We offer Black/Orange and Black/Grey at this time, but we we'd love to hear if you're looking for other colors.
How can a soda-can sized bin hold up to 3.8 liters?
Our patent-pending technology traps the trash as it is inserted into the bin and as the user continues to add and apply pressure to the trash it gets compacted. It works because the combs hinder the upward movement of elastic, springy trash.
What material is this made from?
A 3D printed filament. Minor surface marks are normal—and proof of our precision process. (To preserve performance, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight within enclosed vehicles in high temperatures, as extreme heat can affect performance.)
Is the product dishwasher safe?
Use hot water and soap and don't allow it to soak for long periods.
